Christmas is an exciting time for the people in Aoteroa/New Zealand. To get into the big festival season, our children have a great Christmas celebration at LBLC. Children write letters to Santa, sharing their special Christmas wish about presents. To make Santa Claus familiar to our children we read related stories and books and play lots of Christmas music and movements during the mat times. Children create Christmas cards for their families to take home and each and every one contributes to decorating the Christmas tree at LBLC. Our  children perform special Christmas songs/or action songs for everyone and to welcome Santa. Then comes the arrival of Santa, everyone gets their presents from him and get to take a photo with him on his lap. We all enjoy the celebrations with special Christmas treats and meals provided by LBLC.
